In prior Journal posts, I've emphasized the thought we need not take ourselves too seriously. Life can be hard enough without constant overthinking or wallowing in shame. In my view, we have good reason to celebrate the unique, positive characteristics of our ADHD creativity. In my post Today You Are You...ADHD Gifted I used Dr. Seuss' words to emphasize the fact we need to embrace who we are.

In this video from the Holderness Family, Penn pokes fun at our unique ADHD quirks, but even in doing so he also shows his amazing creativity--a trait common to many with ADHD.
